Pistol Red Dot Course EAST COUNTY TRAINING CENTER | 10/18/2022 - 10/19/2022
A sixteen-hour course designed to allow students to transition from an iron-sighted pistol to a pistol mounted red dot. Students will mount their optics per the manufacturers specifications. Students will practice (live fire) presentation, optic failure drills, malfunction clearance, single hand manipulations and shooting on the move.
This course will satisfy the sixteen-hour requirement for a department member to carry a pistol red dot optic on and off duty.
This course is open to RSO personnel only
