Strategic Communication/Driver Awareness (PSP) | EAST COUNTY TRAINING CENTER 07/11/2022
Eight-hour combo course of Driver Awareness and Strategic Communications (Strat-Comm). This course is designed to train sworn law enforcement officers in minimum topics of Driver Awareness including: Basic Driving Principles, Legal and Moral Aspects, Defensive Driving, and Maneuvering Course Exercise. The Strat-Comm instruction is designed to teach advanced levels of strategic communication and de-escaltion techniques in order to generate voluntary compliance, as well as a professional relationship with the public.
This course meets the P.O.S.T. Perishable Skill Training requirements.
