Must currently be employed by a law enforcement or public safety agency. This course is designed to help law enforcement officers manage potential crisis situations with individuals suffering from mental illness. The course focuses on specific mental illnesses, de-escalation skills, community recourses, in addition to other various mental health related issues. This class complies with SB 29 requirements.
