Firearms Semi-Auto Pistol 1911 EAST COUNTY TRAINING CENTER | 02/13/2024 - 02/14/2024

Must be currently employed by a law enforcement or public safety agency. An sixteen-hour course designed to allow students to transition from a Double Action, Double Action / Single Action or Striker fired pistol to a Single Action Only pistol. Students will receive a lecture on maintenance and nomenclature, design history and manipulations, Students will practice (live fire) safety manipulation, malfunction clearance, presentation, and single hand manipulations. This course will satisfy the requirement for a department member to carry a single Action Only pistol on and off duty.  This class will also satisfy POST PSP requirements for Tactical Handgun.
