Internal Affairs Investigation | 06/13/2023 - 06/15/2023
Must currently be employed by a law enforcement agency. This course offers the law enforcement professional the necessary skills to perform an effective, through and defensible internal affairs investigation. Participants gain an understanding of the issues and role a supervisor plays in the disciplinary process along with the importance of positive discipline. The students learn the differences between civil and criminal liability and acquire a strong working knowledge of the Peace Officers Procedural Bill of right Act. Participants are encouraged to bring their agency’s internal affairs investigation policy.
