Less Lethal Munitions Recertification for Patrol Operations | 05/29/2023

Must currently be employed by a law enforcement agency as a peace officer or equivalent. This is a user recertification course for the 40mm Launcher, Taser 7 and Pepperball Launcher for patrol operations. Students will review the weapon systems, deployments, safety guidelines, equipment needs and case law regarding the weapon’s use. The primary goal of this course is to provide the theory and practical training necessary to effectively and safely operate all of the 3 weapons systems. Users will be recertified with following launching systems/platforms: Custom Carbine FTC (Full Tactical Carbine), Axon Taser 7 and Defense Technology 40mm LMT Launcher. Taking a direct impact from any of the systems is not required.

• Ballistic Vest / LBV
• Duty Sam Browne
• Riot Helmet
• Gas Mask (from their station)
• Change of clothes
• Towel

PLEASE NOTE:
NO FIREARMS, MAGAZINES, PEPPER SPRAY, KNIVES, TASERS, OR CHEMICAL WEAPONS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE CLASSROOM.
