School Resource Officer | 07/17/2023 - 07/21/2023
This course will teach students the basic function of the school resource officer. The course includes current trends in school policing, management of SRO programs, and collaboration with educators. Students will also learn basic teaching skills and how to manage a classroom. This course is interactive with both classroom and field instruction. Gangs, drugs and laws pertaining to children and child abuse investigation will also be covered. The students will also participate in live fire scenarios using sminunitions.
