Must currently be employed by a law enforcement or public safety agency or have completed a Basic Correctional Deputy Academy (ADJ-CID). This 3-day course is designed for personnel assigned to correctional/Jail facilities. Topics covered reflect current issues trending within our Department, Department changes, updated procedures, new laws and Assembly Bills, Critical Incidents, Tactical Communication/ De-Escalation. And Defensive Tactics.
