Dispatcher Public Safety Basic | 07/08/2024-07/26/2024

This course is designed for law enforcement dispatchers and is available to self-sponsored students based upon qualification. Self-sponsored students must be a minimum 18 years old, have no felony convictions, no misdemeanor convictions involving weapon violations or acts of physical violence and have a valid driver’s license or ID card.

This course is a basic overview of public safety dispatching and satisfies the July 1, 2011 revised curriculum set by the Peace Officer Standards and training for basic public safety and dispatching. You will earn 6.0 units of college credits.

Cost of the course is $389 for self-sponsored students and $369 for agency-sponsored students.

Self-Sponsored: For those who are self-sponsored (not currently employed with an agency), you MUST fill out, sign, and return the self-enrollment form before you are enrolled in the course.  Once the self-enrollment form has been received by our office, you will receive a confirmation e-mail confirming receipt of the form.  Do not pay for the class until you have received this confirmation e-mail. To download the self-enrollment fom click HERE.
