Critical Infrastructure Security & Resilience Awareness / AWR-213 | 12-03-19
This one-day course will introduce participants to the key terms, policies, guidance and preparedness efforts required to safeguard the nation’s critical infrastructure. Discussion also includes the risk management framework, federal critical infrastructure security & resilience, information sharing programs and programs for individual actions.
Primary focus will be on local preparedness efforts as they relate to the national approach to critical infrastructure security and resilience. This understanding will enable stakeholders to address local planning within a common framework addressing the mission of prevention, protection, mitigation, response, and recovery.
This is the first of a series of four infrastructure protection courses being presented through October, 2018. Students successfully completing all four courses* will obtain the “TEEX Infrastructure Protection Certificate”.
