Strategic Communication/Driver Awareness (PSP) | 05/30/2023

Eight-hour combo course of Strategic Communications (Strat-Comm) and Driver Awareness. This course is designed to train sworn law enforcement officers in minimum topics of Driver Awareness including Basic Driving Principles, Legal and Moral Aspects, Defensive Driving, and Maneuvering Course Exercise. The Strat-Comm instruction is designed to teach advanced levels of strategic communication and de-escalation techniques in order to generate voluntary compliance, as well as a professional relationship with the public.

This course meets the P.O.S.T. Perishable Skill Training requirements.
